Moving Services FAQs

• What moving services does ZeroMax offer?

ZeroMax offers local, long-distance, apartment, residential and commercial moves, plus packing, storage and moving boxes to buy or rent. We also handle specialty jobs such as fine art, washer and dryer moves and commercial kitchen equipment, along with flat fee and same-day moves. Every service runs from our Red Hook, Brooklyn base and covers all five boroughs and Jersey City.

• What is the difference between local and long-distance moving?

A local move stays within the five boroughs or makes a short trip nearby, and it is usually priced by the hour or as a flat rate. A long-distance move goes to another city or state and is priced mainly on shipment size and distance. ZeroMax is licensed for both, under US DOT 3224565, NYS DOT 40574 and MC 1009800.

• Do you offer packing services?

Yes, ZeroMax offers full packing for your whole home and partial packing for the kitchen, fragile items or anything you choose. Our crew brings boxes, paper, bubble wrap and padding, then labels each box by room. Across NYC, packing a one-bedroom typically runs $150 to $400 for a partial pack and $400 to $700 for a full pack including materials.

• Do you offer storage?

Yes, ZeroMax stores belongings in its own climate-controlled, monitored facility in Red Hook, Brooklyn. Our crew picks up from your home, wraps and labels each item, and delivers everything back when you are ready, anywhere in the five boroughs and Jersey City. Storage works for short gaps between leases, renovations or longer stays, and your written quote covers the space and timing.

• How do I get a moving quote?

Call (929) 295-6262 or request a free quote online with your addresses, move date and a list of your larger items. Mention stairs, elevators, building rules and any packing or storage you need, since these shape the price. We send a written quote before you book, and a walkthrough in person or by video helps keep it accurate for larger homes.
