I had the earliest move in time and our movers even showed up a few minutes before the appointment time. We had two movers that were fast and efficient. From our one bedroom apartment with three flights of stairs plus a courtyard with a stoop to our new apartment with two flights of stairs took a total of 3.5 hrs (distance between apartments was 7min drive). They carefully wrapped our furniture and disassembled and reassembled our queen bed quickly. Wardrobe boxes are complimentary. If we have to ever move again, we would definietly go back to them.

Zero max moving was phenomenal. First off, they offered the best rate for an interstate move. The movers met us at 10 AM in Pennsylvania (arrival time was 10-12 and it was a 3 hour drive from NYC so we were very impressed!). The 2 cross state movers were polite, friendly and efficient. They helped us wiggle our furniture out of a packed storage unit and seamlessly packed 4 incredibly heavy couches and several misc items in under an hour. They shrink wrapped our couches extremely well and meticulously - not a scratch or spec of dust. Unpacking was a breeze and quick- they carried all of our furniture up a huge flight of stairs quickly and without complaint.I was a bit hesitant to book this interstate moving company because some earlier Yelp reviews seemed like a few employees may be difficult but those must be outdated because this was certainly not the case.10/10 would recommend.

What a hard-working and efficient crew. I lived on the top floor with the steepest, skinniest stairs ever, but there was no grumbling. Several of my larger pieces of furniture had to be dismantled to make it down the stairs, and Zeromax Moving and Storage NYC reassembled them in my new home, no questions asked. This review is long overdue --- our movers helped us with a very complex job from the UWS to Brooklyn. We underestimated the difficulty/scope of the job but they were able to adapt to our needs day of. We had a number of fragile pieces (like mirrored furniture) and we were concerned about damage. But not only did they wrap our items with care, they also got them to our new location and deposited them without harm.I appreciate their attention to detail and flexibility. It's not often that you rave about a moving company, but these folks really go above and beyond to get the job done.Moving is enough to give you a heart attack, but these guys helped put us at ease. The two man crew made another trip back to help us move the last of our boxes upstairs. They were both pleasant and worked really hard. It only took them a couple of hours and we had everything where we needed it. They are great guys and I recommend them highly!

Three guys - due to arrive btwn 9-11am / at 8:50 they txtd & said they'd arrive at 9:45am .. AND ... They DID ! They wrapped everything (studio apt) carefully in blankets & shrink wrap and loaded up the truck carefully but not slow walking my stuff to jack # hrs worked - bcuz they are a flat rate based on size (# boxes) of local move! So they move my stuff like I'd move it carefully but not wasting time / and they unpacked the truck & put stuff in the storage unit in the same professional careful way ! the total move took 4 hrs: wrapping furniture, loading truck, going to storage place and unloading truck into storage unit ... 4 hours !!! I'll never use an hourly rate mover again! I've had hourly movers take 6 hours to move my furniture 1 block in Manhattan!! When I move out of the storage unit I'll schedule it for the day Zeromax has guys available !

I needed to find cheap out of state movers very last minute for my move on the 1st of the month. I posted a Yelp request and received several quotes. Wardrobe boxes are provided and we were able to pack them while the 3 movers were protective-wrapping the furniture.They were able to de-mount and mount our tv despite our not so easy walls, as well as all of our furniture (tables, bed, etc). The whole experience was a breeze and the 3 gentlemen (Victor, Nestor, Emzar) were very professional and handy and a true pleasure to work with. I would 10/10 recommend to anyone looking to move around NY/NJ.
Moving is the most stressful thing you can do in this city- convince me otherwise. Also, moving during a pandemic? Yikes.This company removes such a big pain from the process.I found the company on Yelp and moved in late August 2020.The quote was quickly provided and was based off of the exact items that I was moving to the new location.I don't have incredibly nice stuff. However, I had a few items that I was scared could be slightly damaged in a less than careful move. I packed up my belongings to the best of my ability. I didn't know what to do with some of the larger items that I had cleaned and prepared for the movers. They perfectly wrapped the furniture individually. Despite being on a fourth floor walkup, everything made it into the truck safely and into the next apartment.Arguably this was some of the best money I have ever spent.Also, I'm like 5'6 and 125 lbs.I can't do this all on my own.Give this company a chance, your back, your wallet, and your stuff will thank you.

Excellent service, showed up early and were gentle with all boxes. Reassembled my bed on a 2nd floor loft! Great attitude and professional.One area that could have been handled better were price negotiations, on the day of the move I was charged more for having more items - not a huge amount but it could have been handled better than a back and forth phone call while the move is actually taking place.
ZeroMax was a total professional. I needed to quickly move a purchased couch. I reached out to several movers who were either unable to accommodate the small,local move or overly pricey. ZeroMax responded quickly with a reasonable price. Hooray. Then we realized the move date was Easter. ZM communicated quickly that they would do the move the next day. They kept me totally informed and delivered within the time block promised. The movers were quick & quiet while I was on a Zoom call!
I had a great experience with John and his movers!First of all, when requesting a quote, John reached out within 30 mins and even gave me a call to confirm. He wanted to make sure we did our due diligence in measuring larger items to avoid extra day-of-move fees which I appreciated. He even let me throw in a couple smaller items without extra fees!Day of move, they gave a call when they were about 15-20 mins away and arrived promptly. They took care in wrapping fragile items and packed up my LES studio in I want to say an hour or less! I met them in my new apt in Brooklyn--they had already laid out my things in front and started moving everything in when I arrived. The whole process from arrival to departure was probably 2 hours. Both movers were very kind and made sure to ask where to put everything.Overall really great service from start to finish and made this move as easy as it gets! Also want to mention that nothing was damaged in the move. I would definitely recommend zero max moving to anyone looking for a smooth move in NYC! Thanks again!
It really took me a long time to find a good moving company around my zip code and i found this company through a friend who recently just moved and i agree that it is very reliable fast and responsible with your valuables I recommend people who are moving to go and give them a call.... I recently used ZeroMax for moving long distance from NJ to NYC and couldn't have been happier! I received a quote within an hour of the request, and booking was easy. The office could have been a bit better with responding to emails, particularly when it came to updating my inventory list, but it wasn't difficult to get them on the phone and sort it out.The actual long distance move went great! Leo and his crew arrived at the end of the time slot, but kept me updated via text for their arrival. They were friendly and professional, and worked quickly to load and unload the truck. I had a few extra items that I didn't account for in my list, and accidentally forgot to mention that my bed was electric, but we worked out the additional fees (which were reasonable I might add) easily.Once they left, I realized that they accidentally left a power supply in their truck. I reached out to the office and they were able to get in touch with Leo and find it the next day. He had it next day shipped to my new apartment and even followed up to make sure I received it. Couldn't ask for better service! Highly recommended and I'll definitely use them for my next long distance move!
I had SUCH a wonderful experience with ZeroMax Movers. THE PRICE CANNOT BE BEAT!!! I AM TELLING YOU!! I called 10+ places. ZEROMAX WAS THE CHEAPEST And had THE BEST REVIEWS!I lived on the 5th floor of my old apartment and I was moving to the 4th floor of a new apartment. These guys are such hard workers!My old apartment had VERY narrow stairs and my furniture is very expensive. Not ONE item was scratched or damaged.The men took apart my bed and my peloton, they put these items back together perfectly and super fast!I had a couch come to my new apartment, the men came here first to carry that couch up for me and put it together! The couch was VERY heavy.I had multiple boxes of China glass and not one item was scratched or broken. I didn't even wrap the glass up because I didn't have time! Really remarkable.It was a hot rainy night and the men moved my belongings without getting them wet.I couldn't have asked for a better experience. They set me up for a win!Also I didn't know how I wanted my bed and my furniture for the bedroom, and the men set it up and it looks GREAT! They're also designers- who knew! HahaI am SO happy I chose ZEROMAX!

They did a great job with my move. The key is to just make sure you're prepared before they arrive. They even let me add additional clothes and a small table for free. They were also a few hundred dollars cheaper than my closest estimate. Would definitely hire again.
Alex and Archie get 5 stars for our move from Manhattan to a storage facility in NJ (about an hour away). They were on-time, friendly, efficient, and probably most importantly, extremely careful with our belongings (wrapped and padded furniture, protected TVs, and took extra care of the boxes marked "Fragile"). I'm not sure how many different teams ZeroMax has available for moves, but we would DEFNIITELY recommend Alex/Archie if requests are available.Isaac was our customer service representative and was very helpful with our quote, as we had to update him of our inventory list multiple times since we kept changing it. Pricing was transparent and fair.

Movers were very efficient and quick. We couldn't believe they did everything so quick being just 2 of them. They were very professional and friendly. We had a lot of stuff and we had to do 2 extra stops and everything was done in 5 hours. Way faster than we thought. Nothing was damaged and the communication was great.

Zeromax movers gave me a great quote which I revised twice as my inventory changed. They showed up on time and prepared to work. They didn't even take a lunch break! The only thing that was unfortunate is that they didn't have a short ramp to use to get up the steps leading form the street into the building. This made it more difficult for them. But they powered through! Pro tip. Communicate as much as possible with this company prior to the day of the move. It will make everything much smoother. Very hard working crew.

ZeroMax was a cross country movers to go with while moving during the coronavirus pandemic. They were gloves and masks throughout the entire move.The 3 movers wrapped each individual piece of furniture securely and ensured it would not be damaged. They even disassembled a few small pieces of furniture for us. They were very thorough and careful when loading and unloading the truck, and put every item in the correct rooms as instructed. I would recommend!

I used Zeromax movers to move my stuff from my apartment to a storage unit and it was the easiest move I've ever experienced. I say experienced because I did not have to lift a finger. They were very hard working and moved everything. EVERYTHING. Things I needed to pack in the car, trash I needed taken to the dumpsters, they were quickly taken from my hands. Amazingly polite and very safe.They showed up early for the move to ensure they were on time. They packed up their truck super quickly and packed the storage unit efficiently. I checked in with multiple moving company's before choosing ZeroMax Flat Fee Moving and I am glad I did. John was responsive, thoughtful, and on top of the move and the details. I let him know it was a small move (one bedroom apartment), and he gave me a fair flat fee quote that was competitive with other movers. He also did not require us to pay an hourly rate (instead, offering a flat fee). I appreciated this because it made me feel more confident that the movers would be efficient and quick. And they were, without compromising quality or care and the move took just three hours from start to finish (distance between locations was about 25 minutes). In addition, they gave me an arrival window of between 8 and 10 AM and the movers got there right after 8 AM, which meant we weren't waiting around for them to show up. I highly recommend this company and this team. Really...one of the most well-executed, affordable, and professional moves I've ever experienced.

Alex, Archie, and Zio helped me and my partner with our move this past weekend, and they were absolutely amazing! They carefully dismantled and wrapped two desks - and other large pieces of furniture - and then reassembled them at our new place. We had a very big painting that Alex wrapped in thick moving blankets; it arrived in perfect condition. I was impressed that they brought their own wardrobe boxes and used them to hold my canes and other mobility devices that I had just wrapped together. It made transportation so much easier and kept my accessibility equipment organized. I will absolutely be using ZeroMax again for subsequent moves!

I booked ZeroMax Flat Fee Movers pretty late (about 3/4 days before my move since my move in date had to be changed) but I am really happy that I booked them. Leo and Kakha reached well ahead of time and waited patiently because my elevator reservation was until almost 2.5 hours later. They moved all my things with a lot of care and there were no issues at all. They even helped dispose of unwanted furniture which I really appreciated. I had a restriction on the elevator in the destination location but they finished the unloading very quickly. All in all, it was a very smooth experience from start to finish and I definitely recommend them.
